Children Reading Books

Discover ECE in Australia

Australian Early Childhood Education programs support the learning and development of children from birth to five years old. They are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which focuses on play-based learning to build children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Our  programs are delivered in settings such as childcare centres and preschools, and are regulated under the National Quality Framework (NQF) to ensure high-quality education and care.

Early Childhood Education

Contribute to Australia’s early education sector with this paid internship designed for students, graduates or professionals in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECE). Apply your academic training in real-world childcare settings.

START DATES AND LEAD TIME

Interns can choose their preferred start dates; however, we recommend allowing a lead time of approximately 6 to 12 weeks to ensure a smooth process.

If you're applying for a 407 Training Visa, please note that visa processing times are determined by the Department of Home Affairs and are beyond our control. This time is in addition to the preparation period mentioned above.

For candidates who already hold a valid visa (such as a Working Holiday Visa), the process may be quicker — but we still recommend starting early to allow enough time for interview arrangements and host confirmation.

Planning ahead gives you the best chance of securing a meaningful internship experience!
